Our Story
More than 30 years of neighbors supporting neighbors.
ResourceWest began in 1993 through a collaborative effort involving the City of Hopkins and Hopkins School District. In 2003, the City of Minnetonka and Minnetonka School District joined the effort. In 2009, the organization became ResourceWest, a name that better reflected its growing regional reach.
Today, ResourceWest provides resource navigation, financial assistance, childcare support, and programs for children and youth across the West Metro. Community partnerships help us connect people with additional resources.
What Hasn’t Changed
People come to ResourceWest with different circumstances and priorities. We listen, discuss what is available, and work with them on practical next steps.
