Every child deserves to begin the school year feeling prepared, confident, and ready to learn. ResourceWest\u2019s Back to School Program helps reduce financial stress for local families by providing students with the school supplies they need for a successful start to the school year.<\/div>\n

More than a backpack giveaway, this program is an opportunity to support children, strengthen families, and connect neighbors with resources that can help throughout the year. This year, the Back to School Program brings together local organizations and community partners in one place to make it easier for families to prepare for the school year. While picking up school supplies, families will have the opportunity to learn about programs, services, and activities that support children and families throughout the year.<\/p>\n

Families are required to register in advance for the Back to School Program. Eligible students will receive a new backpack filled with school supplies, based on recommendations from our local school districts. The school supplies will be distributed during scheduled pickup appointments on Saturday, August 22.<\/p>\n

The Back to School Program assists families living in or with children attending schools within the ResourceWest service area. This includes the communities of Hopkins, Minnetonka, Deephaven, Excelsior, Greenwood, Shorewood, and Woodland. Additionally, the program supports families with children enrolled in schools within the Hopkins or Minnetonka School District.<\/p>\n
