Getting Ready for the Winter
For 30 years, our Twin Cities West Metro community has been helping students and their families get ready for school. This year was no different. During the month of August, ResourceWest with the help of our generous community, provided backpacks filled with school supplies to 1,200 students. Together, we helped nearly 400 families prepare their children to start the school year strong.

Spring is in the Air at ResourceWest
We’ve been sharing a lot about how our programs work and how they support the community the last few months. In this month’s newsletter, we want to dig into the reasons why our work is so important and the driving factors of it.
Spring is coming, right?
With spring right around the corner (fingers crossed), we have been busy planning and preparing for our events and programs coming up this year. It’s been a busy month at ResourceWest, and we are excited to share all of the highlights with you in this newsletter. The inaugural Gathering to Grow event took place last week. We are now beginning a spring collection drive to replenish items needed for the Winter Warm Wear Program in the fall. We will be diving in to why the Winter Warm Wear Program is so important.
Resources, referrals, and requests, oh my…
Can you believe it’s February already? It feels as if we’ve jumped a month ahead, doesn’t it?
Thank you for taking the time to enjoy our monthly newsletter and learn more about our work. Each month, we will dig into our programs, one by one, and share them with you, Ally. Some of them you may know a ton about, while others may be new to you.
