Become a volunteer on one of our Fundraiser Committees

Hearts on Fire Gala is becoming more popular every year.  Our next event is on February 12, 2011, at the Minnetonka Community Center. Help is needed in various areas: committee members, decorating the event venue, helping find sponsors, selling tickets, silent & live auction, and more. Empty Bowls is held every year in mid-March, in collaboration with our sister organization ICA foodshelf. We need help contacting restaurants, picking up soup, and serving lunch and dinner on the day of the event. Also, you can try your hand at creating a ceramic bowl for yourself or to sell at Empty Bowls. Contact the Hopkins School District at (952) 988-4000 in early January.

Kickball Fundraiser is slated for the summer of 2011. We are looking for people to join our committee to plan this event. Meetings begin in October and will continue through June/July 2011. We are looking for 14 people to help with logistics of planning the event, fundraising (sponsorship & entry fees), marketing & promotions. The committees will meet once or twice a month - time committment will be 2-4 hours a month depending on the sub-committee. Meetings will be held in Hopkins during the evening or weekends.
